Hangeland Set for Captain after McBride Exit?

Brede Hangeland is set to become Fulham's new captain

It would appear that Roy Hodgson is considering giving the tall defender the armband thereby repeating a feat he employed when they both staved off relegation at the Norwegian side, Viking.

It's no secret that the arrival of Hangeland in the January transfer window stiffened up our defence.

We here at Vital Fulham believe he'll make a more than capable replacement for the departing McBride.

I'm not so sure it should be him, i'd give it to Simon Davies
Think he's got all the qualities for being a good captain. Who will he be battling it out with? Simon Davies maybe
Haven't I been saying this? I am not shocked, right choice in my mind.
Very sad to see McBride go, gave so much!
I would have gone firstly for Simon Davies but Hangeland was a superb buy and I'd be happy to see him as captain next year
It wont be a massive shock if he gets it but still Davies is my choice
Oh! blimy, i forgot that Davies has been Welsh Captain! humm.
why does everyone think that hangeland is so good? he singlehandedly lost us the sunderland match. also, for his size he's only decent in the air. he also couldn't shut down adebayor in the air...2 header goals? captain? no way.
