'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Injury prone strikers dish of the day?

According to this mornings press Fulham are keeping a close eye on Birmingham City's new contract talks with striker Mikael Forssell.

The Finn who played under Roy whilst he was with the national team was one of Birmingham's top performers last season. However has found himself spend more time on the table than he would like ever since his arrival at Stamford Bridge 10-years ago.

Brum boss Alex McLeish said: 'I spoke to Mikael last week and asked him how he felt about staying on. He was positive but if the deal is not right for him, he won't stay on.'

I have been a fan of Forssell for a long time and when he's fit he is a very good striker. Just those injuries are a worrying risk!

Your thoughts please!

I always liked him when he was at Chelsea!

I reckon he's got the talent but wouldn't be signing him personnaly. i would hope to improve upon our other strikers with someone a bit more reliable

he hasn't performed at Brum even when he was fit (which was very rarely) I say forget him

if we can't get saha, i'd take forssell over zamora. we already have a fast striker in johnson, who will develop, and forsell is great on his feet/clinical finisher when healthy.
