French Star on his way?

French Star on his way?

Fulham have approached Le Mans right back Jean Calve according to the player himself.

The former France Under-21 has just completed his best ever season in the top flight and is now out of contract after rejecting a new deal.

The 24-year-old claims he has been contacted by Paris Saint Germain, as well as both Fulham and Bolton.

The defender revealed he does not want to be signed merely because he is a free agent and that he wants to feel wanted by his next employers.

"There is interest, but I need to take the time to study the different projects.

"I need to play to keep improving. It has been a beautiful season, the most consistent of my career.

"I have been the most-used player for the club this season. That is a good sign. It is hugely satisfying, but also because the results have been good."

I have no doubt Roy will be able to charm him to Fulham, however this would surely put an end to any Finnan rumours.

Which would you rather have? Finnan or Jean Calve?
