Capacity Increase?

Capacity Increase?

Is it just me that remembers that in October last year the club announced that the home of football was to be biggerized and betterized?

The official announcement was that at the end of the current season existing executive boxes will be removed from the Riverside Stand so more seats can be fitted and the corporate facilities would get a make over and the river facing side of the stadium would get a face lift so that you can walk all the way from Putney to Hammersmith.

Oh and Planning permission for a restaurant in the Hammersmith End of the ground with panoramic views of the river has already been granted, and it is the intention to complete both projects concurrently. So is it just me that thinks said improvements will be 'delayed' untill Al Fayed gets some more money in his bags?

I hope not, if we increase capacity and improve facilities with that restaurant it's only going to increase his profits in the long run so hopefully he'll see sense. the stadium could use a bit of a revamp and since Roy came we've been selling out so get some more seats in there too.

stick terraces behind the goals - that'd increase capacity!

Shame the extra seats will be in the riverside stand though! won't be adding to the atmosphere much! So no home friendlies yet again?!?!?

All you have to do is sell the extra seats for all games. Good luck next season.
