Another Player to return?

According to some reports Pierre Wome is keen on a return to the Premiership with Fulham among the names linked.

The Cameroon international is available on a free transfer after departing German giants Werder Bremen.

And the 29-year-old, who had a brief spell with Fulham in 2002, is thought to be on Roy Hodgson`s list to strengthen his team for the new season.

I never saw Wome play and have no idea how good he was for us six years ago. Will this be a good signing? He certainly has the experience being one of five players to have played in the top division in Italy, Spain, England and Germany.

So, as always, your views please...

Al Billy
oh sorry, he's a centre back
oranje_emu
another one - but I guess Stefanovic will be long gone though!
Putney
and Christinval unfortunitly! Oh and most likely Ian Pearce.

Oh and most likely Bocca. Any memories of Wome then?

Saw him score a screamer of a free kick against Blackburn, I think it was. 30 yards if it was an inch and still nearly took the back of the net out. Also damn near decapitated Perry from Spurs in a horror studs up sliding tackle. Aside from that, didn't set the world alight. Tigana signing if I remember correctly. Squad player at best.

And hopefully Baird, But why will this be another Lietman lazy old git

He can play at left back too.

I remember seeing him at fulham and thinking he wasn't that great have seen him since and thought he looked very good so not sure. Give him a trial i trust in roy to make a decision.

Wome wasn't up to much in my opinion. I'm hoping RH finds us a few more Hangeland's and we ship out Baird, Stef, Pearce and Christanval. Still hoping to keep hold of Boca and Hughes

We used to play him at left back under tigana if i remember rightly also remember that free kick cept i think it was 35yds. I remember saying to the bloke next to me on the terrace, "he cant seriously want to shoot from there" before he blasted it into the top corner seen him play for Werder a couple times and looks like he still gets forward a lot... dont think we need a replacement for Konch though...
