'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hangeland and Stalteri Squeeze Through!

In our ongoing quest to elect the 'Vital Fulham Player of the Season` we`ve now reached the stage where we can announce the two defenders who will join Kasey Keller in the final poll.

After letting the poll run for three days, two of our defenders have polled significantly more votes than the others.

Co-incidentally, both were signed by Roy Hodgson during the January transfer window.

Therefore without any further fuss, we`re proud to announce that Brede Hangeland and Paul Stalteri have been added to the list of candidates for the final poll.

For the record books, Hangeland polled 37% of the vote whilst Hughes polled 33% of the vote.

Next we move on to the midfield department where, once again, we`ll be looking for two candidates to join those already through to the final vote.

Once again we`d like to thank you for your support, it is greatly appreciated.

I reckon the Spurs lot voted for Stalteri to try and push the price up :-)

Stalteri was good, but I think Konch deserved it more!

I voted for Paul - been consistent all year!
Putney

The £1million the papers have quoted will be fine thanks! :-P

1 mil will do but would still rather have steve finnan, also agree that konch never gave up even when we looked awful he always but it in.

Konch was consistent all season, Stalteri was adequate but I still prefer Volz at right back as a better attacking option. But you have got to agree that Hangeland has been the defender of the season, tall, strong, excellent positional awareness. He has been an unsung hero for us this season even though he only came to us in January. He is everything that Zat Knight should have been!

Konch over Stalteri anyday
