Fulham - Old Favourite to Retire?

An old Fulham favourite, Sylvain Legwinski, could be on the verge of retiring from first class football.

Legwinski, who played for Fulham from 2001 to 2006, before moving to Ipswich Town has not been offered a new deal at Portman Road.

At thirty-four years of age, Legwinski knows that time is fast running out with regards to his career and with regards to his future could only remark,

"There may be one or two clubs that might be interested or maybe it`s the right time to retire from football."

Since leaving Craven Cottage, Legwinski has made fifty-one appearances for the Suffolk club scoring seven times.

Surely somebody could utilise his experience in either the Championship or League One!

It's bizzare! He started this season on fire for the tractor boys, then just vanished! Just like Smertin i guess!

It doesn't take a genius to figure out I'm a big fan of Leggy! Will always have a special place in my heart for scoring the winner in our 3-2 victory against Spurs at Loftus Road in 2002. Always did a lap of the pitch clapping the fans after each game. He's a highly intelligent bloke, too.

I still feel Smertin could do a job for us!
