Fulham - Best Supporter's in the Land!

Fulham - Best Supporter's in the Land!

We may have been (unjustly) pipped by Manchester City for the Fair Play spot in the UEFA Cup but we have netted a small consolation prize.

The official standings show that our supporters (what a wonderful bunch) have topped the Premier League`s Behaviour fo the Public Fair Play table.

Whilst the title doesn`t carry a massive cash prize, we`re sure that the £20,000 cheque will be passed, by the club, to a very worthy cause.

The award is recognition of 'verbal support in acceptable form and recognition of outstanding play by opponents.

Fulham amassed a total of 319 points over the season which averages out to 8.40 whichjust held off the challenge of the Geordie nation who averaged 8.24.

In third were Arsenal with 8.21 and FA Cup finalists Portsmouth averaged 8.16.

However, at the other end of the table, our near rivals, Chelsea, managed to show their true colours by finishing bottom with a pathetic average of 7.50.

Just goes to show, money cannot buy you class!

fair play league, what a total crock of the proverbial! Villa finish above Citeh and yet have to go through the inter two bob! Saw Hodgson saying it would have/could have been a poison challice for you guys to get into Europe next season, I'd think you just need to re- consolidate and steady the ship surely?

HA! Mr Fear is my dad! I always think about 10th in the fair play league is right, I want to see players challenging and getting stuck in, so if that means some yellows and the odd red, ok. The ones at the bottom are too physical and the ones at the top with the least cards have no bottle or battle!

The ones at the top just don't get sent off, doesn't mean they don't make just as bad challenges ;). Neville keeps saying how hard he finds it not to get booked now, he would always get away with a late mistimed challenge at united, not any more...

How do the Public Fair Play table points get awarded? What are fans measured against? Is this just a Premiership award?
