Queudrue Strikes Back!

After our win at Fratton Park, Roy Hodgson was gracious enough, in victory, to remember those who had fallen through the trap door in the Championship.

Whilst the rest of us were celebrating Roy showed what a remarkable gent he is by revealing his feelings for Alex McLeish and Steve Coppell.

Away from the scene of triumph, I tried to think how we as a club would have coped if things had off turned out differently, I have hoped that as club, from top to bottom, we`d have acted with some degree of civility unlike Birmingham City who seem set to implode.

The remarkable fall and fall of Birmingham, from failed buy-out to letting Steve Bruce go has left many people bitter, none more so that David Sullivan who in the aftermath of relegation has been quick to offer a few thoughts, most notably relating to the players Steve Bruce bolstered his squad with after promotion last season.

Sullivan levelled criticism at the quality or lack of they possessed and one of his targets was an ex-Fulham player, Franck Queudrue.

Rather than simply sit back and watch his reputation being taken apart, Franck has hit back at Sullivan and indicated that he won`t be playing for a club in England`s second city for much longer, by remarking,

"It`s horrendous! Obviously I cannot stay in a club where a chairman makes comments like that about players."

"He (Sullivan) should have pointed the finger at the players who have played most of the season. I didn`t get enough games."

Now if we`d have been relegated, could you possibly imagine our club acting in such a gross manner, I can`t!

Has Sullivan the balls to say it to the affected players faces? I doubt it!
