'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jimmy - We`ve Been Awesome!

On reflection, winning four games out of our last five gives us a fantastic platform to build upon for next season.

Unfortunately, some of the momentum built up will be lost due to the summer break. However, a couple of new signings could provide the spark to see us get off to a good start.

Indeed, if you combine that with the fact that Roy Hodgson will be able to spend the close season moulding his team together and hopefully cement the style of play in place that saw us end the season so successfully, August could be a thrilling month.

It`s a fact not lost on Jimmy Bullard who in the wake of that great day out by the south coast is already awaiting the start of the 2008-2009 season with all the enthusiasm only Jimmy could exude.

Here`s what he had to say,

"Its amazing form we`ve been in - it`s crazy really, unbelievable."

"We`ve played awesome in the last three games. We haven`t played like a team in trouble and we`ve thoroughly deserved it."

"I know it`s early but if we can start next season in the form we`ve finished in, God knows what might happen."

"You`ve got to get off to a good start in this league."

August, only eighty-eight days until the season starts.
