Is it all about money?

Is it all about money?

Tonight a small article in the Evening Standard is suggesting that relegation would be a main commercial risk stating that we`d be unable to fund our existing contractual commitments.

According to the report, Fulham lost £15.2 million last year.

If we were to be relegated it further suggests that the club would need further cash from our parent company AIT Lesiure Holdings based in the British Virgin Islands.

Despite the 'parachute payments` apparently softening the blow, it appears that Sunday has now taken on a whole new importance off the pitch as well as on it!
