Litmanen Plays - We`re Serious Man!

Ahead of our do-or-die fixture with Portsmouth this Sunday, there was something of a warm-up match last night when the two reserve sides faced each other.

Sadly, our reserves ran out 1-0 losers but the match will be remembered for the fact that Jari Litmanen played for 76 minutes and could well have played himself into contention for the squad that will travel to Portsmouth this weekend.

Others that appeared with first team experience were Moritz Volz, Ian Pearce and Eddie Johnson, however we suspect neither of those three will feature in Roy`s selected sixteen on Sunday afternoon.

76 whole minutes! I guess he'll need a rest now then until at least August!

LOL, Merlin! :) What's his position btw?
Fan of Blues
Play who you like, we are concentrating on Wembley & that should be enough for you to get the points you need. In turn we will take 6 of you next season.

Plays behind the striker. Attacking midfield I guess. He and Andreason in a Diamond formation could work but that would mean no Murphy and Bullard which aint gonna happen!

will be intresting...i think we will be concentrating on the final - but i hope we will be fighting for places. goinnto a cup final on 4 strait losses is not great! (particually after such a great run of form before that!)
pompeycarpet
So with the form of Davies, Bullard, Murphy and Anderson why do will still have him?
Backslash2010
i guess he's contracted until the end of the season!
Putney
Damn i want him out now!
Backslash2010
I want us to keep him, have him as a player/coach! His class and years of experience will be a huge asset!
