McBride`s Future in Doubt!

McBride`s Future in Doubt!

After yesterday reporting that our American keeper is considering his future at Fulham, we`ve stumbled across varying accounts of the way forward for our veteran American striker, Brian McBride.

McBride, who has made a remarkable comeback after being sidelined through injury back in September, has, according to one tabloid been offered a one year extension to his contract.

At the age of thirty-five, it`s probably the best he could hope for.

However, a second tabloid, whilst also mentioning the one year contract extension, also throws in the suggestion that he`s contemplating a move back to America to play for Columbus Crew!

I guess this one will have to be put on ice until our relegation fight is decided one way or the other.

I think if we go down he'll stay to help us back up. But if we stay up he's off

Apparently Cookie is after him too! I hope he stays! One of my favourite players!

I think Backslash is right and the same can be said for Keller in my opinion. Both players know that they will not figure much if we stay up and could be mainstays of the side if we go down!

I still think Macca will still be a main player for us if we stay up!
