Dempsey signs extension!

The official site has today announced that Clint Dempsey has signed an extension to his contract which will make him a Fulham player through to the summer of 2010.

This, in my view, is a fantastic bit of news! I'm sure many of us though Clint was one of the more likely of our players to be snapped up by another premiership club if we were to go down.

Over the last few weeks we have had players speaking about how they will stay at Fulham even if we went down. However it is Clint who's the first to put words into action.

Come on Clint! Mark this moment with a goal or two today!!

Glad to hear this. I think Clint's still growing a lot as a player and next season might be when we really start to see him peaking. Good luck to him!
