Litmanen To Make A Bow!

Are we all sitting comfortably?

Glancing through the tabloids today, desperate to find a little piece of news that does not relate to that lot down the road going to Moscow, I found something!

If reports are right, our thirty-seven year old Finnish international, signed during the January transfer window, Jari Litmanen, is - are you waiting for this - finally fit for action!

More importantly, its being suggested that Jari could well be in the squad to face Birmingham this Saturday.

Heaven help us, what next?

A start perhaps?

will he play? Can't believe it myself :-)
merlin
place on the bench at best I'd suggest!
Putney
I hope he gets on the pitch, only to then have his legs broken by all the birmingham players! then he'll have something to cry about
Backslash2010
I thought he was a coach. Why did you buy a 37-year-old player in the first place??
Fan of Blues
we didn't buy him. He was a free signing. Roy knows him from Finland and he can still play! (if he can stay fit). Forssel was saying today that he has no question in his mind that he is premiership quality still. He'll come on, set up one and score one!
oranje_emu
Or he'll get hit in the head by an astroid 2moz!
