Kamara - Should He Start Against Birmingham?

After that dramatic comeback on Saturday, a comeback that gave us a chance of survival, a few questions have arisen.

One of the most important relates to the decision regarding who should start up front against Birmingham City.

In recent games, Hodgson has started with Brian McBride and David Healy. However, it has been Erik Nevland and Diomansy Kamara that have hit the headlines.

Therefore, it was only a matter of time before the question was put to Roy, here`s what he had to say,

"I guess Kamara will expect to play but last week we lost 2-0 to Liverpool but didn`t play too badly. The previous week we had a very good result at Reading so I didn`t see the need to make drastic changes."

"But what happened in the last 20-25 minutes at City then the two of them (Kamara and Nevland) will be expecting that I will start with them against Birmingham. What I will do is give that plenty of thought."

"I don`t have an answer to that question today."

So what do you think?

Should we go with Kamara from the start? Is he better as an impact player? Or should we stick with McBride and Healy?

Bring him on with thirty minutes to go - just like Saturday - 90 minutes seems too long for him!

a good old fashioned SUPERSUB!

Its a bit late for Kamara to start demanding a first team place after he's been so rubbish all season. I didn't see the game against Man City but by all accounts he came on and finally played to his so-called potential. He should start in place of Healy, the question is should Nevland really be ahead of McGod? I think not!

Sometimes when good subs start matches, they don't play as good. Keep him as sub and let him make the difference when he comes on!

Victor Anichebe is a great sub, but gash from the start. Some players are just better once the defence has had the run around a bit.

DO NOT START HIM!!! I have said so many times he is an impact player. Start McGod and Nevland. Healy has played well but I really like the look of Nevland. I won't be too upset if we stick with the same team. AS LONG AS WE DO NOT START KAMARA!!

Kamara had a great 20 minutes against City and we should all be grateful for his super goals. BUT he is at best a supersub and on the occasions he has started, he's usually been highly ineffective. Start with McBride and Nevland, who looks really sharp, and keep Healy and Kamara on the bench!

Put Kamara on at half time but put him on the left wing
