Davis - Middlesbrough Bound!

Davis - Middlesbrough Bound!

If the press speculation is right then Steven Davis, currently on loan at Glasgow Rangers, will not be returning to Craven Cottage to resume his Fulham career.

The latest suggestion doing the rounds is that Gareth Southgate, at Middlesbrough, has emerged as favourite to secure the services of the midfielder who, to be brutally honest, flattered to deceive during his time on the pitch for us.

If the rumours are correct though, we can also expect a £3 million windfall when he puts his signature on the contract at the Riverside Stadium!

if we paid 4 million for the bloke are we only getting 3 mil back? I suppose losing one million wouldn't be so bad bearing in mind S*****Z bought perhaps one of the worst midfielders in a Fulham shirt since Elrich and Elliot were being played by Cookie! Goodbye Davis you won't be missed

Davis is not one of the worst. Elliot isn't that bad! He was a free signing and did a good job when we needed him to do so, in a period when we had a midfield shotage. Elrich was poor, from what I gather anyway. Never saw him play! I still believe Davis is a good player who will do well for Fulham for years to come but I wont cry if he goes out.

I thought Elliot cost us some money from some US side didn't he? He was pretty rubbish, one of his first touches of the ball in a Fulham shirt was a mistake that resulted in a goal against us. Anyway, he is unlikely to play for us again. Elrich I had the misfortune of seeing play in a cup game, he was toilet! I was excited about us signing Davis as I know a Villa fan who thought that he was potentially a good player but after seeing him play.... ghosting through games making no impact either defensively or offensively. It would drive me mad that we carried on starting with him week after week, ship him out!
