'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Hodgson on Survival!

After coming back from 2-0 down to win 3-2, it`s quite easy to get carried away.

The gap has closed and we`re breathing down everyone else`s necks. There must be a few worried managers out there who thought their teams were safe - Gareth Southgate, Steve Bruce, Steve Coppell…….

However, perhaps we should be careful and listen to the words of wisdom Uncle Roy has served us up!

"I`ve been told that in the second half, when we were 2-0 down and all the other results were going against us that we were relegated."

"I can`t explain how we came back, but it is even harder to explain why we were two goals down - I felt that was very cruel."

"We`ve given ourselves a massive shot in the arm and the game against Birmingham is now huge."

"People might now say that if we win our last two games we will be safe. But we`ve won only six games all season so it won`t be easy."

might depend on how much fight Pompey have in them with a Cup Final six days away!

There might still be some hope for you!

first time in four years that we have won two away games in a row! So lets get rid of this wins in a row record!!

Good on Roy! is there a more fair-minded and articulate manager in the PL? He speaks such sense and he's right - let's not get carried away! But WHAT a result. Whatever happens, we've had a good go at it with a squad which is far from ideal. Have to give Roy credit for a lot of that.

RH is already a Fulham legend in my book. Desperate for the man to stay whether we go down or not
