Hodgson on Liverpool Defeat!

Hodgson on Liverpool Defeat!

It must be hard being Roy Hodgson right now!

He`s a loveable enough character and there is no doubting his knowledge of football is first class but trying to look on the positive side as we stare at relegation is something not even a world class spin doctor could do successfully.

Nevertheless, Roy tried hard and this is what he had to say about the defeat,

"It`s not looking good. We have paid a high price for the mistakes."

"I can only hope that with nine points left to play for we are food enough to get them."

"I can`t say it`s not looking bleak and our situation has worsened because of Bolton`s victory."

"We are further behind and we are running out of games."

Spin doctor mark - 5 out of 10 from us Roy!

At least Roy is honest, wears his heart on his sleeve and doesn't insult our intelligence - a bit like Keegan, except with a brain. He doesnt spout off clichés and I reckon he really feels the fans' pain.
