Hodgson Praises McBride!

Brian McBride made his 150th appearance for Fulham yesterday and celebrated in style with the opening goal.

Since coming back from injury, McBride has shown that even at his advanced age he can still do a decent job leading the line as well as scoring vital goals.

After the game, Hodgson was fulsome in his praise of McBride remarking,

"It`s not been easy for Brian because so much was expected from him when he got back into the game."

"Today I thought he got better the longer the game went on."

Would things have been different if Brian hadn`t of been injured?

Would we be now in mid-table or would, more worryingly, it have delayed the departure of Sanchez?

Your thoughts please!

now that is interesting - McBride staying fit, Sanchez still at Fulham!

NO! Sanchez would never have kept us up, at least with Roy we have a slim chance!

I think you missed McBride a lot. He has made a good impact since coming back from injury!

Advanced age. :o( So depressing to hear that when the bugger is younger than me!!!
The Fear
The thought of that idiot S*****Z still being at the club sends a cold shiver down my spine. We have certainly missed McBride, I'm just sad that its likely to be his last season in a fulham shirt, maybe we can convince him to sign for one more year before he heads back home?

We obviously missed Macca, hence Kuqi. I think it is plain to see that he can play at least another season in the premiership. why does he have to get better with age?!?
