Hodgson - Wants to Stay!

With the side plunging towards the Championship, Roy Hodgson has remained defiant with regards to his future.

Following rumours earlier this week that suggested John Collins was being line dup for the job, rumours that were strenuously denied, Hodgson has stepped forward and declared that he has a job to finish.

Hodgson, who took over from Sanchez, never really stood a chance with regards to turning things around, Sanchez had signed too many players who were not Premier League class and the damage had been done.

Nevertheless, with the kick off against Reading only hours away, Roy hasn`t given up hope of surviving, even if it does need something akin to a miracle.

Here`s what he had to say in his pre-match interview,

"I won`t admit defeat. I`ve signed a contract here and I am not the type of guy to walk away."

"If, God forbid, we go down I know what we have to do and I know what is required to get us back."

"I reckon thirty nine points will be enough but we have to start winning games."

"Our training sessions this week were tailored to put a smile on the players faces. I am expecting a fully committed display against Reading"

So are we Roy, so are we!

keep him on, you need a period of stability!

perhaps get this Collins geezer in to assist?

Keep Hodgson, simple as that, a mangerial change (again) would be a disaster. Anyone who watched Fulham play under Sanchez knows that Hodgson has made a difference, give him time and backing and we'll be back up into the Premiership with as good a chance as any of staying put!

Good for you then. You should keep him.

Hodgson is a fantastic coach. Simple as that! Al Fayed's choice to bring him in was genius! Give him a chance to build his own team and we'll be playing where we belong in no time!
