Pembridge and Legwinski back soon

Mark Pembridge and Sylvain Legwinski continued on the road to recovery tonight when both played in Fulham reserves 1-0 league defeat to Charlton Athletic.

Pembridge played for 70 minutes of the tie before being replaced - as planned - as he continues his rehabilitation.

Legwinski played for the full 90 minutes of the game but did little of real note as he paves his way back to full fitness.

The game itself was a game of few chances and it took Charlton until the 82nd minute to score what proved to be the only goal fo the game.

Pembridge and Legwinski are working exceptionally hard to get back to full fitness and into the first team.

However, with new competition for places in midfield after the January arrivals of Elliot and Brown it looks like being a real battle for a place in Cookie's side.

A big positive for Coleman is that in contrast to a month ago, when his squad was stretched to its limits, now he is spoilt for choice as the season enters its final stages.
