Hodgson Short on Words!

After the defeat at the hands of Sunderland at Craven Cottage yesterday, our manager, for once, was short on words at his post match press conference.

In front of the assembled media, Roy asked for the conference to be cut short, or in his own words,

"Allow me to grieve for the result in a dignified way and get out of here before I say something that makes me look an idiot."

"I can`t spread joy and comfort. I can`t put an act on. I am devastated by the clubs result, really saddened."

Couldn`t have put it better myself Roy!

Now that does make a change, one of footy's more vociferous managers lost for words almost!

Least it shows the bloke cares about the club, that idiot S****Z would have come out with some ridiculous rant about the ref or some other such rubbish rather than act with any shred of dignity

got to feel sorry for Roy - he was always in a no-win situation - i hope he's given a chance next season to bring us back up!

Im sure he'll get a chance. The fact Roy had tears in his eyes shows he really does care as much about our club as we do!

Roy inherited a squad of Sanchez muppets and hasn't had the time or the leaders within the squad to turn things round. But he's our man to bring us back up, and considering he's only been our boss for a little over 3 months, his passion for FFC is fantastic. Roy, we salute you.
