'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - One Last Effort!

It`s squeaky bum time. There is no margin for error any more, we have to get the three points on offer against Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.

Anything less than three points will have the 'Fat Lady` clearing her throat ready to give us the send off, we all thought we`d never hear, into the land of the dreaded Championship!

As the season has progressed, it`s become more and more obvious that if we are to stay up it`ll be by the skin of our teeth, as I type, it is still mathematically possible, we`re not sunk yet.

However, we have some difficult fixtures and our opponents tomorrow, Sunderland, are no mugs. In recent weeks Roy Keane has steered them away from the relegation places and only a calamity would now see them relegated.

Therefore, if we are to get all three points tomorrow, we`ll need to overcome a vibrant side that seem to have stumbled across a run of form, a run we`d give our right arm for.

Craven Cottage is a sell out on Saturday, I have no idea which starting eleven Roy Hodgson will opt for, all I know is that it promises to be one of those fixtures that will play a prominent part in our history.

Survival or relegation is simply what it boils down to.

Therefore, let`s put April 5th in our diaries as the day we sang ourselves hoarse trying to lift our team - it`s the least we can do isn't it?
