Roy has a Lit of a problem

Roy Hodgson ripped into Jari Litmanen after he played for his country but not for us.

The 37-year-old Finnish legend has yet to don the black and white since his signing on transfer deadline day in January.

However the striker, who is paid around £15 000 a week has played for Finland twice, including this week when he scored against Bulgaria.

Picking up on this fact Hodgson said: 'Jari hasn't completed more than 10 per cent of the training sessions since I've been at the club. He hasn't played one game in a Fulham shirt and has played two matches for Finland."

Adding, 'He has been injured but, strangely, the fitness periods seem to coincide with Finland matches. He hasn't done it yet for me in the two-and-a-half months I've been here. Now we have to wait and see if he can take part in one of our training sessions.'

Maybe Finland should pay his wages or we should cancel his contract? If he is fit to play for them then surely he has to be fit to play for us as well?

this is a joke... I didn't realise that he'd been playing for Finland while we pay his wages and he sits in our treatment room with his feet up. This bloke must be laughing on his way to the bank!
