Healy - A Dramatic Night!

After picking up a gong in recognition of his scoring exploits in the qualification games for Euro 2008, David Healy went on to have quite a night.

The gong, presented by none other than Michel Platini, will no doubt take pride of place in his home but the events of last night will leave the Irishman with mixed emotions.

Healy, delighted to be playing again, scored for his beloved Northern Ireland but then proceeded to also put one past hi sown keeper, Maik Taylor.

It just goes to prove what a strange game football can be doesn`t it?

And what a lovely shot it was past Taylor after he'd saved the penalty :-)
