Hodgson Has Hope!

Still basking in the glow of our fourth Premier League win of the season, us Fulham supporters are now starting to hang on to the every word of Roy Hodgson.

The gaffer is now strutting around almost confident that survival can be achieved. Against Everton his recent signings Hangeland and Andreasen looked quality players and when Johnson adapts to life in the Premier League we`ll be a more solid unit.

Unfortunately, with eight games left, Roy knows we still have a formidable obstacle to overcome, our away form. After the match Roy spoke eloquently about what lies ahead and the performance yesterday remarking,

"We haven`t won away and if we are going to get the number of victories we need then at least a couple have to be away from home."

"We knew we had to get the win and when you are fighting for your life at the bottom the motivation is always going to be that little bit stronger than when you are trying for fourth."

"It was a good performance in every respect. The goal that won it was a worthy winner. It was an excellent cross and a magnificent header. It was the little bit of quality we required."

"We have eight games to go and if we want to stay up we have to reproduce this performance eight more times. We have only got three more home games so five times it has got to be away from home."

Your next four games will be absolutely vital!

win three and you'll get the momentum required to stay up!

RH is in a different class.. a different world to that pillock Sanchez...

In fact if Sanchez were still in charge we'd be on less points than Derby and he'd still be going on about giving the players time to settle in and coming out with the same lame excuses.. oh and he'd still be playing useless dross like Davis, Baird and Healy... if nothing else comes out of this season and we get relegated at least we can take comfort in finally snaring a quality manager (if he stays of course)!!

We have never had a better time to get a couple of away wins as the next couple of games. We are coming good at just the right time. Woy is the right guy at the right time.

Hodgson will stay regardless if we stay up or go down. he wouldn't of signed a long term contract if he planed to leave after half a season if we went down. Andreasen, Hangeland, Stalteri and (in my opinion) Johnson have shown themselves as good signings. Nevland (unfortunitly) hasn't had a chance to show what he can do. kallio has been very good for the reserves and could provide a solid replacement for Hughes? (hughes height worries me). Jari was a free punt and if he plays im sure he wont look out of place. In short viva roy!

now it's looking a little bleaker I seriously hope he does stay - we need stability!

I guess that £1 million bonus will be safe this year though :-(
