Hodgson Harsh on Bullard?

After an absence that seemed like an eternity, through injury, Jimmy Bullard is now back and playing well.

He`s settled back into life in the side and his bubbly personality has seen us scrape points where we may not have gotten them.

However, in his post match analysis, Roy Hodgson had this to say about Jimmy,

"We have to keep on at him about his discipline. The way we would like him to play and the discipline we would like him to show us has not always been a major feature of his game."

"But all credit to Jimmy, he`s working at that. And as a coach you can only be very happy when a player steps up at such an important moment like that at Blackburn and produces such a wonderful free kick."

"He`s now scored two very important goals for us, the winner against Aston Villa and the equaliser against Blackburn. I think Jimmy is getting better all the time."

Our question is, is do you think Roy is being a little harsh on Jimmy? Do you think he should focus on some of the under-achievers Sanchez has left us with?

NOT SO MUCH HARSH AS MORE LIKE TRYING TO GET MORE OUT OF ONE OF YOU BETTER PLAYERS!

I think this is good coaching by roy. We can't have Bullard thinking he's doing enough. If Roy keeps pushing him we will get more out of him. I'm sure he's doing the same for the rest of the team.
