'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Stalteri Tells It As It Is!

After yet another home defeat, albeit at the hands of Manchester United this time, we need to change our luck quickly if we are to survive.

Much of our problems this season have come about because we have this remarkable ability of not being able to win away from home, it`s why the pressure has now increased to an almost unbearable level as we plunge towards the Championship!

Damn it! It`s September 2006 since we last won away from home in the Premier League.

It`s a fact not lost on our recent loan signing, Paul Stalteri, who following on from our 3-0 reverse against Sir Alex Ferguson and his team, had this to say,

"We haven`t won away for a long time and we have to win a game or two away. If not, it`s going to be very, very difficult now."

"Teams around us are going to drop points - they`re not all going to get 30 more points."

"So it`s a matter of looking at ourselves. If we don`t start winning, it doesn`t matter what they do because we`ll go down."

Well, can I say, how about reversing that bloody trend at Blackburn this weekend?
