'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Time is running out

Paul Stalteri last night urged his Fulham teammates to start believing in themselves or face inevitable relegation.

Saturday's defeat by Manchester United means we have picked up just four points out of 24 since the turn of the year. And the Canadian defender, on loan from Spurs, fears time is running out unless they rediscover their self-belief.

Stalteri said: 'We haven't won away for a long time and we have to win a game or two away. If not, it's going to be very, very difficult now. Teams around us are going to drop points - they're not all going to get 30 more points.

'So it's a matter of looking at ourselves and believing in ourselves. If we don't start winning, it doesn't matter what they do because we'll go down.'

I'm starting to like this bloke, but Volz is still my first choice right back!

Im not too sure about volz as a right back, I think he's much better as a winger; good pace and the ability to get back and defend. I must agree i like stalteri too! Lacks a bit of pace but he's solid.
