Brian McBride looks set to start his second game since returning from injury, McBride, off course, netted the last time United were in town, however a lot of water has passed under the bridge since that day.
In September last year, whilst netting against Middlesbrough, McBride suffered a horrendous injury.
Ahead of the United game he`s spoken out about what happened,
"It was pretty crazy. As I kicked to score my quad tendon went, my kneecap went down and I knew right away I was messed up. I didn`t see the ball go in. The fans had gone crazy so I knew it was in, but I wasn`t in the most comfortable state."
Obviously McBride has watched on from the sidelines as Fulham have struggled and he can see where he thinks things have slipped, suggesting,
"There are plenty of times when teams play poorly and still win. That didn`t happen for us. Things didn`t seem to go our way."
"Then we stopped putting ourselves in a position to finish off games,. But we`re refocused with Roy here."
Can McBride have a major influence on us staying up?
