Davies Looking for #6!

After missing our last fixture, the defeat to West Ham United through suspension, Simon Davies, our Welsh international, should return to the starting eleven.

In a season that has seen us hit the depths with regard to prospects and entertainment levels, the form of Davies has been one of the positives we can look back on.

Indeed, with some eleven games to go, he has already matched his previous best tally with regards to goals scored in a Premier League season.

The Welshman has now hit five which matches the five he scored for Tottenham in 2003, however, Davies isn`t finished there and quipped,

"I`m hoping to get a few more before the end of the season."

This Saturday, Manchester United visit Craven Cottage in a much anticipated fixture, a fixture that Davies predicts will have Craven Cottage buzzing, is it too much to hope that Davies can beat his record of five with a goal against United?
