Hodgson in a Rage!

It always hurts to lose, especially when you feel you`ve been hard done by!

With our Premier League future becoming more fragile by the game, yesterday (Saturday) could be remembered as the day the trap door all but lammed shut thanks to a horrific refereeing decision by Howard Webb.

Here`s what Roy Hodgson had to say about the decision and the game,

"I have seen a replay and it was a clear foul. These days you just cannot go in on the goalkeeper with studs up towards his face. On top of that he has followed through and cut Anti on the shoulder."

"Then I am told that the ball goes in off his arm. You are very lucky if the referee thinks that is a correct goal."

"I can understand why Andreasen complained so strongly. In situations like that it is a huge frustration and sometimes emotions boil over when players care so strongly."

"It hurts us a lot because the position we are in, it is true to say we are running out f games and need all the points we can get. I felt we certainly deserved one."

"The performance today was one they can take credit for but when you have zero points it doesn`t help."

"I thought it was an even game but to win games you have to take your chances and we didn`t do that."
