Still after Hyypia?

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson wants Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia at the end of the season.

Hodgson and Hyypia were allies in their time together with Finland and now the relegation-fighting manager wants to give the defender a two-year deal to make him move at the end of the season. Hyypia's Anfield deal runs out in the summer.

Hyypia has found first team chances few and far between with Agger returning to fitness and the resent signing of Skrtl. Plus at the grand old age of 34 you would assume he would like to play regular football.

The six time Finnish Player of the Year towers at 6 foot 5 and I still believe he would be a valuable addition to our squad.

merlin
plus I'd hazard a guess they're looking towards the future not an old man!
merlin
two years is long enough for me! He'll add even more height to our back line and he still has quality!
oranje_emu
he could also be used to bring some of our youngsters along!
