Hodgson & Those Specs?

Hodgson & Those Specs?

All`s quiet on the news front!

I`ve scanned the press from cover to cover and come and come back with very little. However, I have stumbled upon a few more quotes attributed to Roy Hodgson.

Our governor, speaking after the loss up at the Riverside Stadium apparently had this to say,

"We came back against Villa last week but we couldn`t do it at Middlesbrough."

"But I`d be more concerned if we never looked like scoring a goal, which wasn`t true on Saturday. We passed it quite well, worked hard defensively and showed a lot of grit. It was Boro hanging on rather than us looking in danger of going more goals down."

Now, I`m a little lost for words. Either Roy is keen to boost moral or he`s been wearing that rose-tinted spectacles again.

We may have had a lot of possession but threaten the Boro goal we did not.

Or am I being too harsh?

If I recall right the only decent shot you had was when Davies curled one just wide!
