Cookie got a new Job?

Chris Coleman tops the shortlist to replace sacked Iain Dowie at Coventry.

Sky Blues chairman Ray Ranson gave Dowie his marching orders yesterday — making him the 30th manager to leave a club this season.

Ranson now plans to give ex-Real Sociedad boss Coleman a cure for his pain in Spain.

Cookie left Real after a row with the new president and is therefore instantly available.

But Nigel Pearson, who quit as Newcastle coach last week, and highly-rated Walsall boss Richard Money are also in the frame.
